Year 6 & 7 Girls' Football Blitz

Our girls enjoyed an exciting outing to Rugby Ave to represent the school in the first girls’ soccer blitz of the year organised by Gareth from Causeway Coast and Glens Council. The girls had a ball and made lots of new friends from St. Patrick’s & St. Brigid’s in Ballycastle and from St. Brigid’s, Mayogall.
The girls played brilliantly as a team, supporting each other through the defeats as well as the victories, hattricks as well as own-goals!
It was a well-organised, hugely enjoyable morning. Thank you so much to Gareth for the invite and we look forward to participating in further blitzes this year.
Congratulations to all our girls, whose training on Friday afternoons has been paying off! Thanks Davey and Justin, Taylor and Jenny.
