Year 5 Visit Ballylough House
Year 5 visited the home of the Traill brothers, Ballylough House today to take part in an interactive educational workshop: Traills on Rails: Hydroelectricity and the Giant’s Causeway Tramway.
It introduced us to the importance of energy and generating energy using renewable resources. Using laptops and Lego WeDo kits, we worked in teams to design and build a Team Model to show the water’s journey in generating hydroelectric power. It was good fun!
