Primary 5 and Class B have been busy exploring, researching and investigating through their Space topic this term. We participated in a ‘Museum on >span class="markb8fcb7f8k">Move’ project, a blended learning programme which gave us the opportunity to explore museum objects (real asteroids and meteorites!) in school, linking up with the museum virtually via MS Teams. Our workshops with Nigel from the museum were so interesting and informative.

The two classes worked together on a series of science investigations, exploring things like gravity and air resistance (making parachutes), reversible changes and separating materials (by making alien soup), the impact of meteors hitting a surface (simulating craters) and launching our very own rockets! We had so much fun!

We also created some space-themed art and 3D models. We hope you enjoy the pictures of our work!
