Year 4 Trip to Hazlett House

In Year 4 we have recently enjoyed a wonderful day at Hezlett House, finding out all about garden birds and wading birds.
We also found out lots about migratory birds, identifying them and learning about their journey and the dangers they might encounter
We thoroughly enjoyed getting our sleeves rolled up to make some Bird cake. We finished the day by going to the Bird hide at the River Bann, using our binocular and our new knowledge to identify some of the birds we had been learning about.
