Year 2 Autumn Walk

Year 2 have been learning all about the topic ‘Wonderful Me’. We have been exploring each of our 5 senses through a wide assortment of activities and investigations.
On Monday we decided to go on our Autumn Walk to Riverside Park in order to use our senses to find and identify plenty of changes associated with this season. We found lots of evidence including leaves falling from the trees, leaves changing colour, frost all around us and plenty more!
We didn’t find conkers or even a unique ‘skeleton leaf’ but hopefully we will come across these at some stage over the next few months. We loved getting into the outdoors and will use this exciting experience to enhance our learning in class.
We think AUTUMN is such a BEAUTIFUL season!
