The Dental Nurse visits our Year 2 and Year 4

Dental Nurse Visit
Primary 2 and 4 were delighted to get a visit from one of our parents who came into talk to our children about working as a dental nurse. Our current topics are ‘Yum Yum’ in Primary 2 and ‘Healthy Eating’ in Primary 4. Janice told us lots of ways we can look after our teeth as well as providing many ‘real life’ examples of healthy and unhealthy foods. It nearly put us in the mood for dinnertime! We got the opportunity to ask Janice questions about her day to day work and it was an extremely insightful learning opportunity for both classes involved. We really appreciate the visit!
