St Brigid's Causeway Coast and Glens District Champions Yet Again!

Back to Back Champions!
St. Brigid’s girls have done it again! Our netball team successfully defended the title of Causeway Coast & Glens netball champions in a very well-run, exciting tournament in Coleraine Leisure Centre, hosted by Mill Strand PS.
Having topped our group with a tally of straight victories, we proceeded to the semi-final stages, beating Irish Society to claim a spot in the final against Hezlett, last year’s 3rd placed team. Following a fast-flowing, energetic game, our girls were crowned winners with a final score of 6-2.
The reward, as well as retaining the shield for another year, is a much coveted place in the qualifiers for the NI Primary Schools Netball finals.
Well done girls. You played superbly skilful netball and displayed wonderful teamwork, encouragement and sportsmanship throughout. We are very proud of you!
