RNLI Visit St Brigid's

A big thank you to Peter O'Neill for his very informative talk on keeping safe on the beach and the invaluable service that the RNLI provide.
Peter made the children aware of all the signs and dangers to look out for whilst on a day out to the beach. The children engaged in role play to illustrate what they could do if they saw someone in difficulties in the water or, indeed, if they encountered difficulties themselves. The children also had the opportunity to watch footage of a real life rescue carried out by our lifeboat services.
