North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Blitz

The Year 7 boys were super competitors at the North Antrim Cumann na mBunscol Hurling blitz in Cushendall this year. The standard was extremely high in the six, tough group stage matches but never did they give up and we managed to reach a semi-final against a very determined Ballycastle IPS team. The boys rose to the challenge scoring three consecutive goals, securing their place in the final!
The final was to be another tough battle with their opposition being a very skilful St.Brigid’s, Cloughmills team. The boys never stopped until the final whistle was blown but unfortunately we weren’t to come up top in this match. A fantastic day was had and the boys gave it 100% throughout the whole day. As always, as a school we are super proud of their efforts. These boys represented the school so well yet again. Well done.
