First Holy Communion

First Holy Communion is a very special day in the school calendar and today was no exception. The children were beautifully presented and showed an understanding of the importance and significance of this sacrament. They read and sang so well and as usual our school choir added so much to the mass. Thank you to Mrs M Heggarty and Mrs A McIlroy for all their work in preparing the children for the Eucharist. We greatly appreciate the spiritual support provided by Fr. O'Brien.  We thank all the children who were in the choir and also a special than -you  to the four altar servers.

 

This was indeed a special day for the Y4 children, their families and friends, the school and the community as a whole.
