Exclusive Movie Premiere in P5

We had a really exciting event in school last week.
Primary 5 invited Primary 2 to the exclusive premiere of ‘Solar System - the Movie’ on Wednesday. Invitations were produced, tickets were issued, snacks and drinks provided and the film was shown in the plush surroundings of the P5 Cinema. The movie got a great reception from the tough film critics in P2, much to the relief of the hard-working creators.
The movie was researched, scripted, designed, and created entirely by the P5 pupils. They designed the planets using marbling inks and made the floating astronauts with cardboard, paint and split pins. They created their animations on StopMotion and made their planets talk using Chatterpix. They combined the two on iMovie and are now ‘app-smash’ and ‘air-drop’ experts’!
