Big Walk & Wheel

Monday 24^th – Friday 28^th March 2025

It’s time to prepare for this year’s ‘Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel’!

We would like to see as many children as possible making an effort to walk, wheel, scoot or cycle to school the week beginning Monday 24^th March.

Active travel is a great way to build physical activity into children’s daily routine. It helps them to arrive to school more relaxed and alert, and is great for their mental wellbeing.

As always, there will be a designated area of the playground for each class to park their bikes and scooters. Classes will have the opportunity to get out during the school day to safely practise their skills and improve their fitness.

Get those bikes dusted down, tyres pumped, helmets on…and let’s get moving!
