Big Pedal Update

We have had a fantastic first week for our Big Pedal challenge. The playground has been filled each morning with children and their families arriving by bike, scooter and on foot. A wonderful sight to see!
We have another week left in the challenge. We are currently in 6th place in Northern Ireland, with our best 5 days being counted over the two weeks. Some classes have recorded 100% participation in the Big Pedal – well done to you all!
These couple of weeks also give us a chance also to practise cycling skills during the school day, with each class using bikes and scooters for their Daily Mile. We hope these skills will be put into practice at home too. Please don’t forget to wear your helmets, children, and to keep safe at all times.
