Aunt Sandra's Candy Factory
7th June 2019
Have you ever wondered how they make candy?
Primary 3 and 4 now know the answer but have promised that they will never reveal the secret ingredient!
Both classes set off at 8.45am for Aunt Sandra’s Candy Factory in Belfast where they were greeted by Willy Wonka’s cousin, Bob.
They got to view the factory floor where the honeycomb and yellow man is made before having their very own candy workshop where they created cola bottles, candy cane lollies and a few little extra surprises for 5 lucky children!
The children then used their very own Golden tickets to enter the ‘pink room’ where they each got to spin their own candyfloss. Even the teachers and classroom assistants had a go!
We had a fantastic day - Thank you Bob and all the staff at Aunt Sandra’s.
