10th October 2025

Share:

John and Joel, from the Fire and Rescue Service, paid a visit to the Primary 5 pupils on this morning. They gave a presentation on fire safety in which the children learnt about fire escapes, avoiding danger, what to do and who to call. We learned about the importance of having a carbon monoxide alarm as well as a smoke alarm. They also told us about the other rescue work they do along with putting out fires, such as attending road, water and farm accidents,

Everyone received a fire safety pack to take home, discuss with their family and become fire safety officers in their own home. They are also available to come to your home for a fire safety check. Thank you to John and Joel for the enjoyable and informative visit!
