Year 4 & Year 7 Shared Education at Laeney PS

Our P4 and P7 children enjoyed their first Shared Education event of the year, making new friends as they played and worked together.
We welcomed Leaney P7s to St. Brigid’s for some ice-breaker games and had great fun playing OGNIB, which is our version of ‘Backward Bingo’! The children had such fun hoping their number wasn’t called out!! We also enjoyed a variety of sport-based activities together – hockey, netball, volleyball and ‘Where’s Me Troosers’! The children had a fantastic morning.
Leaney P4s hosted our P4 class later in the week, which proved to be another great success. The children chatted and played and worked together on a wonderful art-based project about what Winter means to them.
A very enjoyable couple of days were had by the children and the staff and we are so excited about our next Shared Education visits!
