Year 4 and Year 7 Autumn Walk

The sun shone kindly for us as we ventured out into the Riverside Park for our annual P4 & P7 Autumn walk. There was definitely a chill in the air and the ground was wet from the previous night’s rain, but it certainly didn’t put a dampener on our trek out of school!

We used our senses to take note of the various seasonal changes happening around us and thought about the lovely description we could use to portray the beautiful scenery we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep.

We are looking forward to working together to create poetry and descriptive pieces of writing using today’s Autumn walk as a stimulus for our classroom based work.
