St Brigid's Day and Grandpaernts' Day Celebrations

The theme of 'Catholic Schools' Week' this year was 'Catholic Schools: Communities of Service.' Each day of the week had a special focus giving the children time to think about their faith and people who are important to them.
The children celebrated mass for St Brigid's Day and Grandparents' Day with their parents, grandparents and special family members. The boys and girls sang beautifully and the Year One children treated us to a dramatisation of the hymn 'We Sing A Song to Brigid'.
After mass a guard of honour paved the way for grandparents and parents over to school where everyone enjoyed a cup of tea. The children were delighted to show their grandparents their classroom and present them with a special keepsake.
