Round 2 Cross Country League

Round 2 of the Flahavan’s Cross Country League took place at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre on Thursday. Conditions were tough for the races but that didn’t deter our athletes. They have been training hard and were determined to put in their best performance on the day – and what a performance that was!
Our girls’ team finished in 5th place overall, with the boys’ team finishing 11th. Special mention to Cassie Mae who finished in 4th place (among 91 runners) and to Gracie who finished 5th in the individual race. The results from all of our runners leave us in a good position heading into the final round in January. Congratulations children – fantastic running!
