Netball Success for St. Brigid’s
St. Brigid’s hosted netball teams from St. Joseph’s, St. Malachy’s and Millstrand in our annual mini tournament held in Our Lady of Lourdes sports hall.
Each team played six matches before the 3rd place playoff and final.
The display of determination, skill and teamwork from all teams was impressive. Our girls topped the points with Millstrand a close second, filling the final lineout. It was a skilful, fast-paced and exciting final with our girls winning, building on the runners-up position we achieved last year. The girls were so happy and I was very proud of them and how they played. We look forward now to the defence of our Causeway Coast & Glens title next week.
Many thanks to all the teams who attended, their coaches who helped with the umpiring and to Our Lady of Lourdes for kindly giving us the use of their sports hall.
