Mullan Cup 2026

Congratulations to our 5 a-side football team who travelled to Score in Coleraine to take part in the annual Mullan Cup.
It was a very busy morning with over 20 schools participating, which made for a lively and exciting atmosphere.
Our team played five fast, intense matches, winning four and only dropping points to Millburn in the group stages, which placed us second in our group and earning us a spot in the final eight.
Our quarter final match ended in a well-deserved 3-0 victory against a strong St. Malachy’s side, setting up a hugely entertaining, end to end semi-final clash with a talented St. John’s squad. The atmosphere was exciting, as the teams were both so evenly matched, playing some excellent football. In the final stages of the game, however, St. John’s scored a wonderful goal, which proved to be the winning goal, as our many chances of an equaliser were stopped by a fantastic opposing keeper.
Congratulations to all our team on an amazing display of pace and skill, incredible teamwork and camaraderie, and a commendable attitude in all their victories as well as their defeat. We are so proud of every single one of them.
Thank you also to our wonderful parents, whose continued support for the children enhances their performances every time.
