Newsflash – Millionaires club!
We are delighted to share the great news that three children in our school have now joined the AR Millionaires Club.
Having read 1,263,498 words, our first Millionaire reader was Isaac Kearney McNeill in P6 followed closely by Sinead O Reilly (1,126,701 words) and Chloe Boyle (1,027,411 words) both in P7.
The children had a special assembly to mark the occasion where they were all presented with a certificate of achievement and news of a special surprise treat from the School in recognition of this fabulous achievement.
The children are to be treated to a special Celebration Lunch in a restaurant / café of their choice in Ballymoney.
Twenty five children in KS2 have read over 100, 000 words since September with six children reading over half a million words.
Perhaps it won’t be too long before we have new members in our Millionaire Club.
