Evacuation Day

Check out our pictures as P4 and Class B children travelled back in time to 1940 and became WW2 evacuees for the day.

With their finest gear on, their gas masks and their identity labels firmly attached, the children had a great day, working with Becca from the NI War Museum in Belfast and taking part in a fun and interactive workshop.

They tried on real World War Two costumes, listened to stories about rationing and air-raids and discussed what it would have been like to be a child growing up during the war in Northern Ireland.
