Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be our night on Tuesday night at the Coleraine Showgrounds, but what a night it was. The team represented the school with great pride, and everyone can be rightly proud of their achievements. The occasion will be one that the team will never forget. The big crowd brought an extra special atmosphere to the match. The referee and neutrals were amazed by the standard of the skills on show and the overall quality of the match. Every time it looked like we were getting back into the game we had the setback of conceding a goal. Despite all our best efforts we just couldn’t get back on level terms with St Patrick’s and St Brigid’s. Even in defeat, whilst the team were disappointed, they all showed great respect for the opposition and for the officials. A massive thanks to everyone who supported the team throughout the year and on the night.
