Doherty Cup Challenge 2025

Our school soccer team had their first Doherty Cup qualifying match this week at the University against Bush Valley, who proved to be a fit, tactical and strong team. Although the result did not go our way in the end, losing 6-3, the boys and girls showed great determination and teamwork. A wonderful array of skill and slick passing was on show, culminating in excellently worked goals for St. Brigid’s. But for a couple of soft goals conceded, our team played an impressive game, and we are very proud of them on their first competitive outing of the year. Well done to Grace T, Jacob, Harrison, Milo, Grace Mc, Braden, Oliver, Max, Yvan, Nellie, Cassie and Alfie. Thankyou to Justin, our coach, and all our supportive parents.
