Cross Country NI Finals 2026

A great day for our school and especially our P7 athlete who competed in the NI Finals of Flahavan’s Cross Country today, for the second year in a row! Qualifying as a result of excellent performances throughout the league, she acquitted herself extremely well today in Mallusk, competing against the top athletes of her age. We are all very proud of her achievements! Well done also to her two teammates who continued to join her in training and who were there to support her today.
This brings the cross country season to an end for this year. Thank you to all of the team at Athletics NI for a well-run competition and to Our Lady of Lourdes for allowing us to use their grounds in training.
Finally, well done to all of the boys and girls in the squad who showed brilliant commitment since we began our training back in September. The fitness they have gained will stand them in good stead as they continue to represent our school in other sports.
