Creative Writing Challenge

Our World Book Day challenge for 2026 invited every child to become an author – crafting a short story of under fifty words. The results were brilliant!
Whether they wrote independently, teamed up with a buddy or worked together as a whole class, every child rose to the challenge with imagination and flair. The ideas were thoughful, funny and wonderfully original.
